Getting started
Up and running in a minute.
1. Open the download
Double click the file and drag Utter into your Applications folder.
2. Allow two permissions
Microphone access so Utter can hear you, and Accessibility so it can type for you.
3. Hold fn and talk
That is it. Your 14-day free trial starts the first time you dictate.
What you need
- macOS 14 Sonoma or later
- A Mac with Apple silicon is recommended
- Any microphone, the built in one is perfect
Already bought a license?
Open Utter, choose Settings, then License, and paste your key. Lost it? We can send it again.
